Spring is here and with it comes a new season of growth and change. Today I’m announcing that I also will be experiencing a change as I begin retirement this May.
It has been a privilege to serve and care for you during my many years of dental practice. Each of you has become a valued friend and as much as I would love to continue to serve you, it is only natural for me to transition into retirement.
Recently, our practiced merged with Dr. Raghavan’s practice the DuPage Dental Group. After a long and careful search, I have found an excellent dentist to take over my practice. I know you will be pleased with Dr. Raghavan and her team. They will provide the same personalized care you have been accustomed to, for many years to come.
Dr. Aarthi Raghavan has been involved in dentistry since she was 17. She graduated from two separate dental programs, one in India, for her Bachelor Degree and the second at the Dental School at Temple University in Philadelphia, where she earned her DMD degree. She was the class Valedictorian and Dean’s list student in both these programs and has contributed her time significantly to research and growth during and after graduation. She has several certifications including Invisalign and has a residency certification from the American Academy of Implant dentistry. She is comfortable treating all members of a family and believes in simple communication to help her patients understand and see dentistry in a new light. She is a believer in continuing education and plans to take her career path towards Airway and Sleep Dentistry. She will be one of the few providers in the nation who practices this expanding new field.
Dr. Raghavan and I have worked closely together to ensure a smooth transition in response to your specific needs. We gladly will answer any of your questions about the transition in the weeks ahead.
Finally, your many kindnesses have always been appreciated. I will miss you.
